Senior Software Architect – Multichannel

The figure sought will be in charge of supporting renewal/evolution projects relating to the multichannel area (home banking platform revamping, implementation of new technologies, etc.), with the aim of providing corporate customers and internal operators with a highly secure, efficient and customised system.

Specifically, it will be called upon to

• define the general architecture of the software, identifying the main components, modules and interactions between them;
• collaborate with the development team in the choice of the most suitable technologies, frameworks and programming languages for the project;
• designing scalable, efficient and secure software solutions;
• provide development guidelines and best practices to the team, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards;
• collaborating with project managers to define requirements so that the architecture meets the customer’s needs;
• maintain up-to-date knowledge on new technologies/trends and recommend innovative, cutting-edge solutions.

Requirements:

The person we are looking for has a degree in IT or STEM disciplines (graduates with equivalent background will also be considered), has gained experience as a Software Architect, or in related roles, in the design and selection of suitable technologies for software development, has an in-depth knowledge of programming languages (especially Java), frameworks and software architectures.
Certifications or advanced training on software architecture, experience in the use of agile methodologies and on large-scale enterprise projects will be considered as preferential requirements.

A strong orientation towards innovation and the search for creative solutions, leadership skills, the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, excellent communication and presentation skills complete the profile.

Different levels of seniority and expertise will be considered.
