On behalf of a prestigious multinational company, leader in the machine tool sector, we are looking for a

Junior Data Analyst

The figure will be placed within the Technical Support Coordination team, which together with Sales constitutes a highly strategic and business activity.
The candidate will report to a Project Manager and will be responsible for analysing and organising the data collected, in order to support company strategies.

Specifically, your tasks will be

• analysing and processing data received from various company sources;
• create detailed reports and dashboards for the monitoring of existing KPIs, or defined from scratch together with the Project Manager, and for presentation to management;
• identify trends, critical issues and opportunities through statistical analysis and predictive models;
• collaborate with the various Service teams and other corporate functions to understand their needs and support corporate strategies, with the aim of streamlining and optimising the department’s results;
• optimise and improve data management and analysis processes.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should preferably have a degree in Management Engineering or related disciplines, and have at least 2/3 years’ experience in similar roles (experience from manufacturing sectors will be considered a plus).

The profile is completed by:

• excellent ability to use MS Office, in particular MS Excel;
• good familiarity with ERP management software;
• excellent knowledge of data analysis and visualisation tools, such as Power BI or similar;
• excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills;
• a good knowledge of the English language;
• the ability to work both independently and in a team.

A willingness to travel to the company’s other Italian offices is also required.
