A prestigious multinational manufacturing company operating in the machine tool sector has tasked us with recruiting a:
Technical Sales Account Manager
(22–26)
The candidate will be responsible for developing and consolidating the market both directly and through the management of a network of distributors and specialized retailers, contributing to revenue growth and strengthening the brand’s presence.
Specifically, the role will involve:
• Managing and developing the distribution network through mentoring, activity planning, and goal setting;
• Analyzing the target market and identifying potential opportunities;
• Making regular visits to distributors and end customers nationwide;
• Seeking new business partners in areas with growth potential;
• Providing technical and sales training and support to distributors and retailers;
• Monitoring the performance of partners and retailers based on identified KPIs;
• Participating in trade shows and industry events;
Requirements:
The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or college degree, preferably in mechanical or mechatronics engineering, and has at least 3–6 years of experience in companies within the metalworking sector, preferably in the fields of machine tools, equipment and/or components, tools, automation, and related areas.
They are well-versed in mechanics and able to effectively interact with both distributors and final customers.
A strong command of English is required, along with the willingness to work primarily in a field-based role across the national territory, with occasional presence at the company’s headquarters in the Milan area.
Strong negotiation and listening skills, a results-oriented mindset, and a proactive approach are required.
We offer:
• Permanent employment;
• Approximate annual gross salary between €40,000 and €55,000
• Company car for personal and business use.
