Project Manager

For an Italian supplier of packages, systems and plants for the energy sector, we are recruiting a:

Project Manager

The selected candidate will join a growing team, reporting directly to the Head of Project Management, and will be fully responsible for the assigned projects for clients operating in the oil & gas, energy, and industrial sectors.

In particular he/she will deal with:

• Analyze project technical specifications, interface with customers and with the Sales/Proposal department;

• Ensure the progress of the assigned projects in line with time, cost, and quality objectives through proper planning of the various phases and activities;

• Monitor the project throughout its different stages, ensuring the correct issuance of the required technical documentation;

• Problem solving about technical, economical or other kind of issues;

• Coordinate the roles assigned to the project (Project Engineers, technical specialists), supervising their activities and deliverables;

• Oversee the project during procurement and execution phases, liaising with buyers and handling any issues arising during supply;

• Effectively manage relationships with both national and international suppliers and customers.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate has a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in technical/engineering disciplines. They have gained significant experience as a Project Manager or similar roles within companies operating in the Oil & Gas/petrochemical sector, EPC firms, or similar industries.

They have a good experience managing projects involving packages, rotating/static equipment, complex systems and plants.

Fluent English language is essential.

Strong organizational, planning, relationship-management, and assertiveness skills are also required.
