Key Account Manager Austria & Hungary
For our client, a global leader in power electronics and electrical infrastructure solutions, we are seeking a Key Account Manager Austria & Hungary, for the local TSOs and DSOs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and growing its own market, driving new business through the definition and execution of effective commercial strategies. This is a strategic, entrepreneurial role with strong growth potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with local TSOs and DSOs
- Qualify and promote HV electrical equipment, including transformers, GIS, switchgears, capacitors, HVDC converters, and related solutions
- Participate in local and international tenders, working closely with assigned key accounts and managing follow-up through project award
- Build strong, trusted advisory relationships with customers, key stakeholders, and internal teams
- Prepare and ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts
- Drive business development activities with the objective of building a local organization, including engineering, project management, and after-sales teams, as well as a local office
Profile Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar technical background
- Languages: Fluent English (mandatory)
Chinese and/or Italian are a plus - Minimum 5 years of experience in business development
- At least 5 years of experience in the Energy and/or Electrical Infrastructure sector
- Experience with HV transformers is preferred
- Proven exposure to grid operators and international grid tenders is highly desirable
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset and ability to operate in a start-up-like country setup
